For Creators and Business Owners
For more than 35 years, I have photographed people, products, businesses, artwork, and
destinations. My work includes weddings, portraits, corporate and industrial assignments,
products, events, stock images, and travel stories across 48 states and four continents. Some
subjects held still. Many did not.
Today, I concentrate on travel and stock photography while continuing to help artists, authors,
and photographers who need specialized services.
Travel Photography
I photograph the people, culture, food, history, architecture, and landscapes that give a
destination its character. By combining photography with travel writing, I help readers picture
themselves at hotels, restaurants, museums, attractions, and cultural experiences.
Stock Photography
Businesses, editors, designers, and authors can license my photographs for publications,
websites, advertising, and promotional materials. My images appear through agencies that
include Adobe Stock, Dreamstime, and Shutterstock.
Photography for Artists
I photograph paintings, drawings, prints, and three-dimensional artwork with careful attention to
color, texture, proportion, glare, and distortion.
Artists use these professional images for juried shows, websites, portfolios, promotional
materials, insurance records, exhibition catalogs, and fine-art books.
Photography for Authors
I create author portraits for book covers, jackets, websites, media kits, and promotions. I also
photograph artwork, objects, locations, and other subjects that authors want to feature inside their
books.
Online Photography Training
I have taught photography for years and written five books about digital, stock, event, and travel
photography.
Online training and private tutoring covers camera controls, exposure, composition, lighting,
travel photography, stock photography, and digital workflow. Each session focuses on what you
want to learn without making photography sound harder than it needs to sound.
